Biographies only?
[edit]These categories are for people only, correct? i.e. not for murders in which a previous unknown died, and not for articles on incidents in which people died? I think that's pretty clear.
What, however, about articles like "Talk:Murder of Emily Sander"? It's not a biography, but it's the only article about her. Does it belong here or should the people categories go into a redirect from her name? I think the latter is best, as it maintains the integrity of these categories as people only.
I'm mostly concerned because I'm doing a bot run and I occasionally find articles like this. If they stay in the cat they'll get tagged with {{WPBiography}}. That said, if the cats get moved to a redirect which is my usual favoured choice they'll still get tagged as I follow redirects. --kingboyk (talk) 17:25, 21 January 2008 (UTC)
Lists of people needing categorization by birth or death
[edit]I've compiled three lists of people needing categorization by birth or death (as of mid-March 2008):
- User:Dsp13/Living people needing categorization by year of birth (containing about 26,000 individuals)
- User:Dsp13/People needing categorization by year of birth (containing about 11,000 individuals)
- User:Dsp13/People needing categorization as living or by year of death (containing about 18,000 individuals)
Any help gratefully received in adding the appropriate categories to these! Dsp13 (talk) 21:08, 21 March 2008 (UTC)
