My user name Thamer, is an Arabic name used (rarely) as an adjective to describe an aged and fruitful Tree. It means fructuous, productive, fruitful,and yielding. The name is pronounced Tha.mer or Tha’mihr (The Th is pronounced as you would say it in “Thin” and “Bath” and mer as in Mercury.)

In the Bible, "Judah was the father of Perez and Zerah by Tamar, Perez was the father of Hezron, and Hezron the father of Ram." (Matthew 1:3)

"The children of Thamah" were a family of Nethinim who returned with Zerubbabel." (Ezra 2:53)
