Hi there. Welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your good work so far, especially on secretary and receptionist. It's a shame there wasn't already more about administrative people; nothing would ever get done without you!
I hope you like it here and stick around to write more. If you want, you can drop us a note at Wikipedia:New user log to introduce yourself.
Before you start doing a lot of editing, you might want to look at the Tutorial. It gives a lot of the basic info you'll want to get you oriented here on Wikipedia.
You can sign your name on talk pages by using " ~~~ " for your username and " ~~~~ " for your username and a timestamp.
If you have any other questions about the project then check out Wikipedia:Help or add a question to the Help desk. You can also drop me a question on my talk page.
Happy editing, Isomorphic 22:12, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
- You're very welcome. I notice from you user page that you've also worked in the fashion design industry. If you picked up any interest in that subject, you might want to take a look at our fashion-related articles. I remember noticing a week or two ago that that area of Wikipedia is underdeveloped. I think I may just have to check that out :) Ladycascadia 23:03, 2 May 2005 (UTC)
AfD nomination of Pit lizard
[edit]Pit lizard, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Pit lizard satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pit lizard and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Pit lizard during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Unspecified source for Image:Rick_springfield_tacoma.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Rick_springfield_tacoma.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 02:57, 8 November 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jusjih 02:57, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Not that it matters at this late time, but that picture is NOT from anyone's website! It is from my personal collection from the time in 2006 I went to a meet and greet for this celebrity in Tacoma, WA. I merely edited it so that I don't show up in the picture. It's MY photo so therefore it's my copyright. So why you are saying the copyright is "unclear" I truly don't understand! but then this is not the first time Wikipedia has tried to thwart any of my efforts to contribute, and quite frankly I'm sick of it. AfD nomination of 16 Magazine
[edit]I have nominated 16 Magazine, an article you created, for deletion. I do not feel that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/16 Magazine. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Well guy, it seems the article was voted a "keep" thank goodness. I'm just sorry you seem to think it's acceptable to impose your personal prejudices here and attempt to destroy the hard work of others. Ladycascadia (talk) 16:59, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. An invitation for comment on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wedlease
[edit]Hello, after a recently failed attempt at a WP:PROD for the article Wedlease, I've made the decision to continue to advocate for the deletion of this article. I saw you had previously taken part in a discussion on the deletion of the article in 2013, and I wanted to invite you to comment (or vote) on the deletion. Thank you so much. --Cawhee (talk) 22:07, 13 April 2016 (UTC)

The article International Cruise Victims Organization has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails WP:NORG
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Rogermx (talk) 15:17, 8 October 2020 (UTC)
