The Cherokee Rose is a beautiful white rose that symbolizes the Trail of Tears march of the Cherokee from Georgia to Oklahoma. The assumption that the Cherokee rose has naturalized to it's current widespread state is debatable, and probably wrong. See: http://www.helpmefind.com/rose/pl.php?n=1124&tab=32 --petrovik 03:44, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
