Hi folks,

I first heard of Wikipedia on NPR (National Public Radio), and started thinking "Do I have any area with enough expertise to be able to contribute something?"
The answer is "Yes!" I've had half a career (20 yrs) seeing most of North America as an independent trucker, small businessman, and diesel mechanic.

I've also been a C/S student and TA at Washington State U, (where I preferred the unforgiving "low-level" programming), and am currently pursuing my dream job of becoming a locomotive engineer on the Alaska Railroad. Hobbies include offshore sailing and brewing thick ales!

I believe "Open Source" is totally the way to go.
