To 216.223.197.10, the link you added surprised me in how much it appears to quote much of New Age. The authors researched the subject thoroughly... an excellent treatise! BF
I removed:
- The genius of New Age composition comes from its amateur aspect. Nearly anyone who plays a musical instrument can produce an inspired piece, and convey their feelings easily within this genre. Talent is in the ear of the listener.
Because it is much too vague. Could this be proven untrue? Are there any genres to which it could not apply with just as much truth? If it's true for any kind of music, it would be folk, I think, not professional, commercially-recorded New Age. Tuf-Kat 06:17, Nov 25, 2003 (UTC)
