Requirements for each subdivision

What are the requirements for the following subdivisions in population, area etc.? jlog3000 (talk) 17:45, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • Province (Do; 도, 道)
  • Direct-Governed City (Chikhalsi; 직할시, 直轄市)
  • County (Kun; 군, 郡)
  • City (Si; 시, 市)
  • District (Ku, Chigu)
  • Ward (Kuyŏk)
  • Town (Ŭp)
  • Neighborhood (Dong)
  • Village (Ri)
  • Worker's District (Rodongjagu)

Divisions of Special Level Cities

The page says that there are no known second and third level subdivisions of province-level special cities, but you go to the pages of places like Rason and Nampo, and they clearly show at least second-level subdivisions.
