Consensus is to move to Category:Planetary science
Proposing move to Category:Planetary science matching move of Planetology to Planetary science after extensive debate and vote on 'Requested moves', preserved at Talk:Planetary science.--Pharos 19:51, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Oppose. There is nothing wrong with the term Planetology. Most references I've seen say something like: "Planetology, or Planetary Science", with the two terms in either order. So it's pretty much the same thing. As such, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. (and that would have been my vote for the article had I known about it) -Kbdank71 21:22, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Support. Pharos is surely right that the Actegory should have the same name as the corresponding article. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 21:50, 4 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Support, categories should always follow community consensus determined as by relevant articles. -Sean Curtin 02:34, Mar 5, 2005 (UTC)
- Support. When I created this category, I wanted to name it Category:Planetary Science, but called it Category:Planetology for consistency. Now that the main article is Planetary Science, I am strongly in favor of making it consistent. -- hike395 03:42, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- I opposed the article moving, but I won't oppose a vote for consistency. Support Cburnett 18:26, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)
