[edit]Some may consider this page pointless because of its triviality, but
- Wikipedia is for the general public so even trivial points may need explanations
- An article on monomial form of a polynmial helps to distinguish between the polynomial and its form, So people have an easier time understanding for example the Lagrange form of the interpolation polynomial.

- A polynomial (or a mononial) does not have any "form". In Lagrange polynomial, all occurences of the word "form" refer to the common meaning, almost synonymous to "shape". However, in mathematics, "shape" refers to a geometric concept, and this is why one use often "form" for a specific way of representing an object by a formula, when several possibilities exist. As this is a non-technical use of a common word, and WP:Wikipedia is not a dictionary, the article you are asking for does not belong to Wikipedia.
- On the other hand, algebraic forms are a special kind of polynomial functions, and there is an article about them, but this kind of forms is not referred to in the article you citte. D.Lazard (talk) 14:32, 10 December 2019 (UTC)
