[edit]Hmm.. This article should discuss the city's Civilian Police Review Authority, since slashing its budget is arguably the worst thing he's done (I'm pretty sure he's said so himself). —User:Mulad (talk) 22:44, May 8, 2005 (UTC)
POV
[edit]This page is just a fan letter to R.T., someone should change it into a neutral article since it's almost useless in its present form...
Which specific sections do you disagree with? --mt
- The bridge collapse part of his history just boggles my mind. Firstly, it is written like a news story "Rybak met with Pawlenty.... the bridge is expected to cost... Rybak wants to have light rail, etc." This is a BIOGRAPHY about a person. If it hasn't happened then why would it be relevant to include in this article? It should be worded in a way that simply states Rybak endured a major event in 2007 in which etc happened. The bridge's financial cost is not part of his biography as a person nor as mayor. Secondly, there are dozens of important Minneapolis events where Rybak met with an official and drew up a plan but because they don't make CNN news they don't appear on Wikipedia? That has truly upset me since this whole debacle has begun here. Davumaya 07:21, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
- sigh, this article really sucks, like I mean it, it really really really sucks and it's funny becuz RT has had a lot of interesting stuff happen to him as Mayor but none of it is being sourced here. i guess i could put this on my list, there are LOTS of articles about Rybak. i'm just surprised no one really cares about rybak enough to wiki it together. Davumaya 04:59, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- My guess is that if that new bridge is built to support light rail, that fact may be Rybak's most notable single achievement.--Appraiser 13:30, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
- Yeah maybe your right Appraizer. Cuz today we found out its gonna have light rail. I think if Rybak pulls off the Washington Ave urban village deal and succeeds somewhat in his Great City plan we can call it a day on the As Mayor deal. Added some new stuff today. I'm going to check other mayor wikis to see if we can get a better template here. ((oops btw this is davu)) 64.122.208.184 17:52, 22 August 2007 (UTC)
Is there still any reason for the POV tag? I haven't seen any justifications given for the POV tag. The objections to the article as it stands may be legitimate concerns, but they aren't POV concerns.--RLent (talk) 14:49, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
I'm doing POV tag cleanup. As there is no reply to the above statement for quite a long time, I'll take that as a consensus and remove the tag. Of course, it can be returned by anyone who wishes to state their reasoning here in the discussion page. I'm not making a value judgement, acting upon what appears a consensus here. Jjdon (talk) 20:32, 26 April 2008 (UTC)
- I don't really see many POV issues as we've been able to cite as much as is possible. Not a lot is written about Rybak directly. The real problem would be that there is not more information here on his biography. .:DavuMaya:. 19:45, 4 June 2008 (UTC)
Update Article doesn't "suck" as much anymore. It's in a better condition at least. There really isn't much else to talk about Rybak other than what is here. .:davumaya:. 18:23, 11 July 2008 (UTC)

Hello. Infobox has been added to raise this from a Stub to Start class biography. The flags for cleanup, point of view and suitability for an encyclopedia will need to be addressed.
