A victim of the September 11, 2001 attacks. I think it should be transwiki'd to the sep11 wiki. I feel like an ass doing this, but you know. This is an encyclopedia we're working on. - Vague | Rant 05:54, Dec 17, 2004 (UTC)
- I might go for a cautious keep on this one. She seems to have played a role other than simply dying. Mackensen (talk) 05:56, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- She may have, but is fighting against hijackers something that makes a person notable? She is already mentioned in United Airlines Flight 93, and I'm sorry, but I don't think information about her youth or her children are necessary. - Vague | Rant 06:29, Dec 17, 2004 (UTC)
- Transwiki: She only seems to be notable for her role in the "September 11 attacks". Brianjd 06:10, 2004 Dec 17 (UTC)
- Good call, no need to feel like an ass. Transwiki or delete. --fvw* 06:40, 2004 Dec 17 (UTC)
- From flight attendant: "The role of flight attendants received heightened prominence after the September 11, 2001 attacks when flight attendants (such as Sandra W. Bradshaw and Madeline Amy Sweeney) actively attempted to protect passengers from assault and also provided vital information to air traffic controllers on the attacks. This led to added security responsibilities for flight attendants." Now, I'm about to edit that last sentence because there's no question flight attendants would have added security responsibilities after September 11 regardless, but still. Keep. - Redirect to United Airlines Flight 93. -- Jmabel | Talk 06:57, Dec 17, 2004 (UTC)

- Keep or transwiki. So long as the information is KEPT. —[[User:Radman1|RaD Man (talk)]] 08:35, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Transwiki to memorial. Niteowlneils 16:34, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Already exists almost word for work in Wikimemorial. Delete this leftover. Rossami (talk) 22:47, 17 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep only because absolutely horrendous logic is being given for deletion. I invite those who vote to delete to compare this article with Todd Beamer and explain why one is OK and the other is not. - [[User:KeithTyler|Keith D. Tyler [flame]]] 01:27, Dec 18, 2004 (UTC)
- He's the guy who originated Let's roll. She's just another flight attendant who happened to be on the airplane. Note that not a single vote here is to delete the article. --Carnildo 01:51, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Heh. I always thought it was Hill Street Blues. - [[User:KeithTyler|Keith D. Tyler [flame]]]
- Even if Beamer were worthy of deletion, Wikipedia is inconsistent. Anyway, Beamer isn't up for deletion. You can VFD him if you like. - Vague | Rant 02:31, Dec 18, 2004 (UTC)

- Keep. I've changed my mind about these. I think that at least a redirect is needed.Dr Zen 07:47, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)

- Keep, i. e. do not "transwiki". I'd normally vote against something so blatantly Americocentric, but something strange is going on here: While literally hundreds of ancient Victoria Cross recipients are being "transwikied" over here, we are seemingly trying to get rid of the more recent heroes and heroines. No. Don't do that. <KF> 23:56, Dec 19, 2004 (UTC)
- The Victoria Cross is the approximate equivalent to the Medal of Honor -- the highest military honor it is possible to get. Being awarded the VC is notable in and of itself. I see no indication that Mrs. Bradshaw was awarded the civilian equivalent, or did anything deserving of such an award. --Carnildo 00:47, 20 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Well, just wondering. Anyone with a pacifist outlook on life will shudder today at the deeds of someone like William Raynor. <KF> 01:17, Dec 20, 2004 (UTC)
- I agree with the OP. Transwiki or delete. Psychonaut 17:15, 20 Dec 2004 (UTC)
