[edit]Couldn't most of this be eliminated as its covered in the plot synopsis in the article Dawson's Creek? PedanticallySpeaking 19:35, Aug 27, 2004 (UTC)

Joey's birthday
[edit]I've seen every episode of Dawson's Creek and I know that you can see Joey's birthdate in her passport in one episode, set as May 13, 1983. But, how come her birthday is just after the summer vacation, when she and Dawson get together in the season 6 premiere episode? Cause they keep saying how they "didn't talk at all this summer". It doesn't make any sense. Logic then makes Joey born either in September or early October depending on their summer vacation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.112.53.185 (talk) 20:51, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
- The birthday's have always been somewhat sporadic and changable to suit the storyline. The season one and two time screw-up was responsible for some confusion over Pacey's birthday once as well. His was alleged to be right at the start of the academic year (since it was shown at the start of season two), but then changed in season four to part way through the academic year. This can be explained away by noting that season two didn't begin at the start of the year, it continued the moment season one signed off (instead of after the summer holidays as all the other seasons did). Joey's birthday can't be accounted for that way, but there was never much concern about continuity in this respect. Take a look at the Andie and Jack confusion, they're brother and sister and the age gap was never even determined, let alone birthdates for the two! DC manipulated character ages and birthdays to fit in with storylines they wanted to run, I think that's all there is to it. Sky83 (talk) 14:09, 12 March 2009 (UTC)
Season 2 takes place in the second half of their sophomore year so his second season birthday episode (Crossroads) should be in January (which is when his 4th season birthday is), however everyone has Summer clothes on in the episode.68.196.76.206 (talk) 12:06, 4 October 2021 (UTC)
Unintended romance
[edit]I'd just like to say that it's awesome the way the last sentence makes it sound like Dawson and Steven Spielberg are a couple. Not saying it should be changed, just that it's brilliant the way it is!
