Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003 TV series)Star Wars: Clone Wars – Per WP:SMALLDETAILS, this article doesn't need to be disambiguated from every article titled something resembling Star Wars: Clone Wars, it only has to be disambiguated from other works that could be referred to with that exact title. The 2008 show and the movie have a "the" in the title, and should thus be different enough to avoid problems. Although both are colloquially referred to as Clone Wars, just as this show is, neither is really ever referred to or could be titled here as Star Wars: Clone Wars because that title would be wrong. The only article titled exactly Star Wars: Clone Wars is the one about the comics, which is much less important than this article (it's basically just a list of comics titled something like Clone Wars or The Clone Wars, and has less than 400 views in the last month compared to over 27,000 for this article). If this goes through, I would recommend adding a hatnote to the movie, and maybe one for Clone Wars (Star Wars), just to help with navigation. Ladtrack (talk) 15:47, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003 TV series)Star Wars: Clone Wars (TV series) – Already redirects here. I believe having "the" in the title is enough to disambiguate from Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008 TV series). For example, a simple comma being added seems to disambiguate Fear, and Loathing in Las Vegas from Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, so I think the year in the title counts as unnecessary disambiguation, all things considered. • Comment - As the person who made the previous requested move, I still believe that this topic should be different enough from the other one per WP:SMALLDETAILS, although I have since learned that I am in the minority in that belief. That said, I gotta wonder what the purpose of this request was. The last move request was only a few months ago with no major policy changes so there is no particular reason to believe that people would have changed their minds about this. You didn't even offer a different rationale from my move request. Plus you still left in most of the disambiguator, so now this title is either not fully disambiguated (if WP:SMALLDETAILS does not apply) or has unnecessary disambiguation (if it does apply). So why did you make this request? Ladtrack (talk) 22:36, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
