Verified hoax. My first VfD nomination, gently offered. Wyss 17:36, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- This individual doesn't seem to have existed; in fact, nobody with that name seems to have existed, ever. Delete Sockatume 18:39, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. No google hits, I'll take your word for it. -- Scott 18:55, Dec 9, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. As mentioned on Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Baron pluroon, there's no immediate evidence he existed, and the context strongly suggests fiction rather than obscure. Shimgray 19:21, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete: One of two hoax Prussians, all created by the same IP user. Geogre 20:26, 9 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Does not compute, most likely a hoax. --MarkSweep 00:39, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Well, it's a plausible-sounding hoax, but still a hoax. Hmm... this has got me thinking. To get a hoax past the VfD, I'd have to create a few fake websites about the subject first. And then maybe even use it as a screen-name and/or sig on some online message boards for a few months, just to boost the Google count. All this before I begin to create the Wiki article. (*sigh*) Hoaxers today. No patience. They just rush straight in and end up giving themselves away. What's the world coming to...? P Ingerson 01:07, 10 Dec 2004 (UTC)
