Adminship
[edit]Hi Sj, thanks for your vote on my nomination but I was wondering what "excluding unusual and nonrecurring actions" meant. Did you spot me doing something bad in my contributions? :) fabiform | talk 15:19, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC) (did you follow the link in my text (pro forma --Ed.)?)
- I did, but the second time I clicked I actually read past the first sentence. Everything suddenly became clear. :) I hadn't spotted your objection before I wrote the above... thanks it made me laugh. :D fabiform | talk 15:41, 17 Mar 2004 (UTC)
AMA Election
[edit]Sj, on Wikipedia:Announcements and Wikipedia:Goings-on : 'the Wikipedia:Association of Members' Advocates is searching for a Coordinator', + new page dealing with the election: Wikipedia:AMA Coordinator Election. Your editing, comments and participation as an AMA member would be appreciated. — Alex756 [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Alex756 talk] 20:34, 21 Mar 2004 (UTC)
Sj, I really thank you for the nomination, and mostly to the statement you made of why you nominated me. It really warmed me up :-). That was very nice, and yeah, what I try to do. I will unfortunately not run for candidate for the coord, not that I am not interested in the process in the least, but these days, I just can't keep up with everything... Well, I was more in the mood of quiting the place these days, than taking another responsability :-( But I hope it works.
thanks for the hug :-) and for the dash of gracious impulsiveness as well :-). That is more funny fluffy than Cimon comparison of anal-retentive types (angel, mav, martin) versus justice-oriented types (ant) :-)
Adminship
[edit]Hey, I've nominated you to be an admin. Head to Wikipedia:Requests for adminship to tell us whether you accept or decline the nomination. --Alex S 17:34, 31 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- why thank you!! you're secretly trying to get me to sign up for more mailing lists, aren't you? (-:
- {last lists signed up for... <sigh> --Ed.)
Sysop
[edit]Congratulations! You are now an administrator. You should read the relevant policies and other pages linked to from the administrators' reading list before carrying out tasks like deletion, protection, banning users, and editing protected pages such as the Main Page. Most of what you do is easily reversible by other sysops, apart from page history merges and image deletion, so please be especially careful with those. Good luck. Angela. 22:41, Apr 7, 2004 (UTC)
- Thank you; I'll be extra careful this week. (and I'll be content if I don't ban anyone for a long while.) +sj+ 22:25, 2004 Apr 8 (UTC)

[edit]re: "Please make clear on the user's page", take a look at Template:UsernameBlock, and see if you think it needs anything added to it. Cheers. :) Martin 18:46, 10 Apr 2004 (UTC)
