Hairdo
[edit]The long, straight, blonde hair she sported in the Brady Bunch is occasionaly nicknamed "Marcia Brady Hair".
I've never heard this before, and so many people have had blonde, straight hair...so I don't think it's unique to Marcia Brady. Removed. Mike H 23:21, Oct 30, 2004 (UTC)
- Hers was considered to be a sterotypical example, and an example of hair ironing, but maybe its just as well left out. Rlquall 00:52, 9 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Marsha's Growing Years
[edit]Maureen is actually from Woodland Hills, California, not Los Angeles. She attended Calabash Street Elementary School and Hughes Junior High School.
This picture is hilarious
[edit]I don't know what's going on in this photo, but there's some blurring in the lower right, and I think her left arm is in on it too, but it looks like she has Popeye forearms. It might just be a simple eye-trick on my part, but I can't see how this photo isn't altered to look like that. JesseRafe 19:21, 23 November 2006 (UTC)
Added her album
[edit]I added her album, "When You Get a Little Lonely", and changed her title as "acress and recording artist". ThemCityBlues 19:49, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
LGBT info
[edit]I removed the Category:LGBT actors and bit about her crush on Eve Plumb. Not because it's wrong, just that a) Google Groups isn't a reliable source, b) it was a kiss on the cheek - read the article if you don't believe me. -- SatyrTN (talk | contribs) 03:29, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- It's back. About to remove again. WAVY 10 12:34, 25 September 2007 (UTC)
- I have issue wrt the internet rumor being given attention. What hasn't been rumored on the internet? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jtdunlop (talk • contribs) 16:55, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- This is one rumor that just refuses to die. If McCormick isn't a lesbian then there are a lot of people over the last ten or twenty years who've been repeating incorrectly that she is. --98.232.181.201 (talk) 01:04, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
"Best Friends"
[edit]Florence Hendersen is 20+ years older than Maureen. Is the "best friends" comment really accurate? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.189.169.190 (talk) 15:43, 27 September 2007 (UTC)
One of Marcia's TV shows is left out
[edit]I read in her book that she was on about 10 episodes of Teen Angel in 1997. You should add that to your list of her TV Series. 69.119.67.42 (talk) 06:22, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
I seem to remember that Maureen appeared in the movie "American Graffiti", in a small part. I might be confusing this with her role in Happy Days, but I'm not sure. If true, and because it proved such a popular movie, it should be listed in her career work. (John G. Lewis (talk) 02:22, 14 June 2013 (UTC))
- No indication of this on IMDb. We'd need a reliable source. - SummerPhD (talk) 02:48, 15 June 2013 (UTC)
Michael Jackson
[edit]She says she dated Michael Jackson when they were both teenagers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ktcdq3tIxoU —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.21.50.212 (talk) 17:15, 14 July 2009 (UTC)
Passion TV Series role
[edit]Why was she in so few episodes of Passions? Was she replaced or did was it her own decision to discontinue the role? Format (talk) 06:09, 11 July 2010 (UTC)
An IP added in 2011 that she appeared in the 1990 series The Bradys; this contradicts the sources. She has also been added to the series article by the same IP, but according to the sources Leah Ayres played Marcia in that series. Yngvadottir (talk) 13:11, 10 January 2014 (UTC)
Age
[edit]She is now 65 years old. 209.122.216.158 (talk | Contribs) 15:17, 6 August 2021
