Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Capitolium University
Appearance
Vanity or spam or both posted by a 23-year old user (User:Leomanfredotti) who claims to be rector or director of the "university". "Capitolium University" gives only 15 Google hits. The text is nearly incomprehensible and possibly machine-translated. A cleanup tag was added by an anonymous user, but removed by the original author (who also vandalized Wikipedia:Cleanup). It was later readded by me, but again removed.
The article exists on the Spanish Wikipedia (es:Capitolium University), posted on 18 december, but was previously deleted on 11 december by sysop Lourdes Cardenal with the motivation "Pura publicidad; no es enciclopédico". / up+land 11:45, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Hey, this must be who attempted to list this school among the "major" universities at Distance education recently, which I reverted. It was a redlink at that time. Dodgy universities may be notable per se, but this is a minor one. No vote yet. Samaritan 12:52, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Appears to be a practically non-existant e-university. — Asbestos | Talk 16:00, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)

- Delete. Doesn't seem notable, and even if it was, this article is too incomprehensible to add anything to 'human knowledge'. Niteowlneils 18:22, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, nn at best. Wyss 18:29, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. The Capitolium University discussion forums have only four messages, in three threads. Seems like a brand-new website to me. --Carnildo 23:00, 19 Dec 2004 (UTC)
